Recreational Courts & Skate Park

Fon du Lac Park District and East Peoria Community High School created 6 tennis courts on the site of the multi-purpose courts at Bradley A. Smith Park on Springfield Road through a joint project that began in 2024.

In the spring of 2023, the high school’s previous “home” courts, on ICC’s campus were destroyed in a storm and since then, the teams have been unable to host matches or tournaments while using the Peoria Country Club for practices. The multi-purpose courts at Bradley A. Smith Park were not up to standards required for competitive tennis. In exchange for priority usage for tennis practices and matches, the School District paid a portion of the rehabilitation costs. The Park District will also have half of the new courts striped for additional pickleball courts. The nets have been installed for the season and are ready to use!
