Youth Basketball

Fon du Lac Park Districts 2026-2027 Youth Recreational Basketball Program

Games begin mid-January and go through mid-march. Practices will begin early January.

Divisions:

Ages 5 & 6  – 27.5” basketball – 8’ baskets

Ages 7 & 8 – 27.5” basketball – 8’ baskets

Ages 9 & 10 – 28.5” basketball – 10’ baskets

Ages 11-13  – 28.5” basketball – 10’ baskets

• All divisions will be co-ed.
• All games will be on Saturdays in January, February, and March.
• Practices will be one night/week. Days and times will be determined based on gym availability and scheduled by the coach. ALL divisions will practice, including the younger ages!
• Times and locations for both games and practices are to be determined. 

Coaches meeting will be Wednesday, January 6th at 6:00 PM at our Administration Building. This is where coaches will pick up their equipment and rosters.

FEES:

Early-Bird Pricing (Per Player) – Now – September 30th
Resident	Non-Resident

Regular Pricing (Per Player) – October 1st – November 20th

Multi-Player Discount:

• $5 off for each additional player in family after first player paid in full.

Resident:

Resides in the Fon du Lac Park District taxing boundaries.

Scholarships:

Available based on financial need for Fon du Lac Park District residents only.

VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED:

Our program cannot happen without volunteer coaches. If interested please fill out that section during registration. The Fon du Lac Park District requires a background check be done at no cost to the volunteer coach, and it will be done prior to coaches being chosen. If we do not receive your background check by November 24th, you will not be considered to coach. This is for the safety of all athletes, yours included.

Class Cancellations: In the event a class is cancelled due to inclement weather, the Fon du Lac Park District utilizes One Call (1-877-698-3261) for means of all mass communication for updates and cancellations. The Park District will also place class cancellations on the Fon du Lac Park District’s Facebook Page. https://www.facebook.com/fondulacpark/ In addition, the Park District will put information on the local news channel websites under “Closings”.
