Fon du Lac Farm Park offers children a unique glimpse of what 1920’s farm life was like on a Central Illinois farm. Opened in 1981 the Farm Park has become a treasured destination for families with young children. Enclosed within six acres of Neumann Park, this facility offers a variety of activities that let visitors experience a day on the farm. There are live farm animals to feed and a red barn to play in. Farm Park includes a country kitchen museum, playgrounds and silo slide. Our concession stand offers a kid-approved menu at affordable prices. The gift shop is a great place to browse and purchase inexpensive, fun items.

Up to what age is the Farm Park geared toward?
The Farm Park is most engaging to children 9 years and younger.
What type of animals are at the Farm Park?
Chickens / Turkeys / Ducks / Canadian Geese / Miniature Horses / Calves / Goats / Lambs / Rabbits / Pigs
How long does it take to enjoy the Farm Park?
Around 45 minutes but stay as long as you like and enjoy the playgrounds, concessions, and general store.
Do you charge for parking?
No – Parking is free.
Is your park handicap accessible?
Yes – There is an asphalt walking path to all the buildings inside the Farm Park
Can we bring our own food/drink into the Farm Park?
No – The Farm Park has a concession stand with family friendly menu and pricing. However, there are several eating areas outside the park if you want to have a picnic.
Can we feed the animals?
Yes – The Farm Park sells $.75 feed cones. No outside animal food can be brought in.
Can we pet the animals?
Yes – Many of the animals are accessible through the fencing. However, talk with the Farm Park staff and ask which animals are easiest to pet. Please note – petting animals is at your own risk.
Do you offer birthday parties?
The Fon du Lac Farm Park is no longer hosting birthday parties. We are offering the public to rent the shelter inside the Farm Park for a 3-hour period when Park is open. The cost is $25 for exclusive use of this shelter. The Farm Park will only book one party per day. Birthday cake, cupcakes, cookies, and ice cream may be brought into the Farm Park. All other food and drink must be purchased through the Fon du Lac Farm Park’s concessions. You will also need to provide your own plates, bowls, napkins and utensils for the party. Decorations (no balloons or candles) are allowed and must be taken down after the 3-hour period. Group Rate Admission is applied for parties of 10 or more people.
