Season 3 starts the week of September 8th – September 10th through Showcase (Early May)

| Class Descriptions & Season Cost — Ages 3 & 4 Years Old | |

Combination (45- Min Class) This is a combination class with Tap and Ballet. This is a playful introduction to dance, designed for little ones to explore movement in a fun and engaging way! The class starts with ballet fundamentals, where toddlers practice gentle steps like pliés and tendus to improve balance and coordination. Then, they switch to tap, learning simple rhythms and basic footwork like toe taps and shuffles, letting them make exciting sounds with their feet. Ages: 3 & 4 Years Old |

Ballet — 5 – 12 Years Old (30-Minute Class) Ballet class is a graceful and structured way for young dancers to learn the fundamentals of ballet. They practice basic techniques like pliés, tendus, and leaps, developing strength, flexibility, and balance. |

Tap — 5 – 12 Years Old (30-Minute Class) Tap dance is a fun and energetic way for young dancers to learn rhythm and movement. They practice simple steps like shuffles and toe taps, creating beats with their feet. |

Jazz — 7 – 12 Years Old (30-Minute Class) Jazz is a high-energy, dynamic way for young dancers to learn expressive movement and technique. They practice fun steps like kicks, turns, and leaps, building strength, flexibility, and musicality. |

Lyrical — 7 – 12 Years Old (30-Minute Class) Lyrical dance blends the technique of ballet with the freedom of jazz and contemporary movement. It encourages dancers to interpret the lyrics and emotion of a song through expressive, flowing choreography. |

Class Cancellations
In the event a class is cancelled due to inclement weather, the Fon du Lac Park District utilizes One Call (1-877-698-3261) for means of all mass communication for updates and cancellations. The Park District will also place class cancellations on the Fon du Lac Park District’s Facebook Page. https://www.facebook.com/fondulacpark/ In addition, the Park District will put information on the local news channel websites under “Closings”. |
Youth Dance FAQ
What should I wear?
Leotard and tights. Your tuition covers one pair of dance shoes that will be provided at the beginning of the season.
Can I make up my class?
Unfortunately, you cannot make up your class in a different class time.
Why did the cost increase?
Your Dance Tuition includes:
- Season Class Tuition
- One Pair of Dance Shoes (Received at beginning of season)
- Dance Showcase Costume, tights, and any props (Received before showcase)
Is there a penalty fee if I drop a class?
There is a $50 Drop-Fee if you drop from the program after January 1st, 2026. (No penalty for dropping prior to January 1st.)
