Fon du Lac Park Districts 2024 – 2025 Youth Recreational BASKETBALL Program

Divisions:

5 year olds & Kindergarten / 1st & 2nd Grade – 27.5” basketball

• This division will be co-ed.
• This division plays on Saturdays in December, January and February. There are no practices for this division.
• Times and game locations are to be determined.
• Coaches will work with children on fundamentals prior to each game.
• This division concentrates on basic skills and developing knowledge for rules of the game.
• This division begins December 7th and goes through February 15th. Must be 5 years old by December 1st.

3rd & 4th grade – 28.5” basketball – 10’ baskets

• This division will be co-ed.
• Teams typically practice one day per week (starting week of Nov 11th) and play games on Saturdays (starting Dec 7th).
• Practices, times and game locations are to be determined.

5th & 6th grade – 29.5” basketball (regulation size) – 10’ baskets

• This division will be co-ed.
• Teams typically practice one day per week (starting week of Nov 11th) and play games on Saturdays (Starting Dec 7th).
• Practices, times and game locations are to be determined.

DRAFT DAY will be Thursday, November 7th. ONLY COACHES need to attend to select players. The draft will be held at the Park District Administration Center at 7:30pm.

5 year olds – 2nd Grade

• $40 Resident / $50 Nonresident (Aug 1st – Sept 9th)
• $45 Resident / $55 Nonresident (Sept 10th – Nov 4th)

3rd – 6th Grade

• $60 Resident / $70 Nonresident (Aug 1st – Sept 9th)
• $65 Resident/ $75 Nonresident (Sept 10th – Nov 4th)

Multi-Player Discount:

• $5 off for each additional player in family after first player paid in full. (*Stackable with Early Bird Pricing*)

Resident:

Resides in the Fon du Lac Park District taxing boundaries.

Scholarships:

Available based on financial need for Fon du Lac Park District residents only.

REGISTRATION:

Forms will be accepted starting Monday, August 5th at the Fon du Lac Park District Administration Center through Monday, November 4th.

After hour drop off box available outside of the Admin Center.

VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED:

Our program cannot happen without volunteer coaches. If interested please fill out that section on the registration form. The Fon du Lac Park District requires a background check be done at no cost to the volunteer coach.

Class Cancellations: In the event a class is cancelled due to inclement weather, the Fon du Lac Park District utilizes One Call (1-877-698-3261) for means of all mass communication for updates and cancellations. The Park District will also place class cancellations on the Fon du Lac Park District’s Facebook Page. https://www.facebook.com/fondulacpark/ In addition, the Park District will put information on the local news channel websites under “Closings”.
